Our mission statement
The China Australia Trade & Investment Council (CATIC) is a not for profit organisation which facilitates business opportunities between Australia and China through delegations, events and support services. We are educators and connectors within the Australia-China relationship.
Our achievements
April 2016, March 2017 and January 2018 – Hosted multiple visits of Invest Shenzhen to Australia June 2016 – Hosted Tencent Incubator Manager to Canberra to discuss collaboration opportunities between Tencent Incubator and the ACT government, ANU, University of Canberra, Canberra Business Chamber and CBRIN.
March 2017 – Assisted Chinese Embassy in Australia to welcome Premier Li’s visit to Australia
July 2017 – Organised an exclusive visit program for Commissioner for International Engagement, Brendan Smyth to Guangzhou and Shenzhen
Nov 2017 – Hosted a Canberra based business delegation to Shenzhen and participated the No.1 Technology Show in China – Shenzhen Hi-Tech Fair
Oct 2018 – Hosted the First All Women “Senior Women Leaders Mission to China”, part of the “Listen | Learn | Connect” program
